Greetings, this is my last project staff .
The motivation of this project is to make something from nature to represent my nation (Colombia) , I was initially going to make the condor of the Andes , but I found this one more interesting because the colors had (yellow, red, black , almost tricolor (the colors that represent my flag) ) , I attached the original bird so they can observe:
The objective of this exercise is to try to achieve a realistic result using blender at 100%, and share the process with time lapse to contribute something, and facilitate feedback to see what aspects I can improve.
This is the first stage of the project and just focus on the head, this project took me 66 hours distributed in 47 days.
I hope this work can contribute in something on your workflow, and you liked.
thanks for your attention.

Stunning and amazingly impressive work!
At first I though the colors were over saturated. "This can't be like the real bird", I though..
Well.. here's the real bird!

Thanks Utopia780!, is a little curious, after I finish my work I found later this image too, this could have been a perfect reference image. I think I will use this for refine and make the next stage.
Amazing job my man!
5 stars :) from me, really good!
This is very inspiring. I love to see great Blender work like this, even if it's nothing like the type of work that I myself would like to create. Skill and hard work rewarded with a high quality result.
Thanks very much for all commentary, I really appreciate your kind words, and thanks to Blender Nation to share my work :).
