Blender Dynamic Typography: 'Dreamland'

3

Beniamino Della Torre shares this typographical music video.

This was my first Blender experiment (Not finished yet :-). I've made it in 2007 with Blender 2.4x (don't remember the right version). Now I've re-rendered it in 16:9 (the original was in 4:3) using Blender (2.69), Cycles and native bokeh DOF, and motion blur effects (instead of composite nodes).

The Cycles samples are very low (50), because I needed to render it quickly (there are 1.700 frames).
I've also added some composite nodes to add vignette, color grading and lens distortion.
The scene is very easy, because there are different static texts placed in the space.
The camera moves in the space, focusing on the correct texts, in the right timing. It was a real exercise of object parenting, camera keyframing, graph curve editing and audio synchronization.
