Melbourne Meetup: March 27

2

Blenderheads in Melbourne, Australia are meeting next week. Blender developer / Blender Foundation employee Campbell Barton will make an appearance and the hosts have some more surprises for you!

Andrew Buttery writes:

The Melbourne Blender society will be meeting at VPAC Systems Office on Thursday the 27th of March at 6pm.

It's going to be jam packed session starting with Campbell Barton who will be talking about many of the new features of Blender 2.7 and demonstrate 3D mouse support (3D Connexion devices).

Alex Fraser will show a promotional animation he made for VPAC. It shows a number of VPAC's engineering capabilities, and uses a fair few features of Blender, including the improved Boolean modifier of 2.70.

Blender Training will be launching it's new book - the Blender Book of Gotchas - and will be giving away a copy of the book to a random attendee!

The Project Charcoal final animatic will be shown and we would love to get feedback. Andrew Buttery will show off the main character rigging and if we have time do quick intro to rigging for beginners.
