A modeling tutorial for beginning Blender users.

In this tutorial we will be modeling an interior scene from a reference photo. It is written for the complete beginner, you’ll learn how to setup a background image and how to match the camera to it, as we follow a very simple workflow for building up the scene with a variety of basic modeling techniques that will give you a very good basis on how to approach any kind of modeling.

Fantastic tutorial! Thanks for sharing it :D
Very modern , looks like an old generic section of super chain jewels isle .
The interior geometry is not problem
the big cycles problem is realistic interior lighting... no light objects, no IES...
And no bi-dir yet.
Cycles has light objects.
It is nice but... manually calibration for the Camera with lines drawn in a image editor... Must use BLAM addon for the track.
Hi Joaclint. I think one can write a whole tutorial only about the BLAM addon, and as this tutorial is aimed to the complete beginner, it would be difficult to introduce a tool like that when you are just getting to know the basic stuff like extrusion, snapping and modifiers.
Regards.
Thx a fantastic Tut for beginners.
I think its poor.....the lining up the camera is too airy fairy,,,,,,,,,,I had a lot of difficulty with it....perspective all wrong etc,,,,crap really
i was so excited to see a written tutorial, till I saw the comments. May be over my head.
