  1. Way too long, too sedative and repetitive audio, and a few clips that I would have skipped. But also some pretty nice ones. :)

  2. nice work and still way too long, this video shouldn't be longer than 50 seconds in order to avoid repetition and only showcase your best stuff :D

  3. A showreel of this quality is not really designed as a piece of standalone entertainment. It exists to show potential employers the breadth of work completed. A funding board of producers and directors is interested not only in the content, design and technical ability of the artists but the confidence they have to allow the viewer to see relatively lengthy, nicely choreographed works. All of the individual pieces would likely have been set to their own appropriate soundtracks and any interested employers would, after seeing this type of showreel, be keen to see all of the separate jobs as they were broadcast. If anything an employer would prefer a longer showreel that says "Yes I Can".

  4. This is a brilliant example to show what is possible using Blender in our professional area of digital art life. Thanks for that, I will keep this as an example for students. 

  5. Nice clips but a terrible reel. Get rid of all the tutorial render stuff and the water sim. Start off with your best work and keep things moving. This reel shouldn't be any more than 1:30-1:45. And why on earth did you show the skull with the flaming eyes 1) for so long, and 2) twice?

  6. ^^^+1. A demo is for showing off your work, not what Blender can do. I found it an odd mix of quite well-done motion graphics/comp work and pointless array and particle animations. The "Made with Blender" bug was very distracting.
