Day to Night Compositing Case Study

Ivan Hoffmann (digitalh) has made a case study on a great compositing technique for turning a day shot into a night shot – and he had to do the compositing work in a short amount of time.  For all you filmmakers out there, here’s your chance to learn more about this very useful “Day to Night” technique!

Ivan Hoffmann writes:

Hi, I’m digitalh, former lead compositor for Plumiferos and actual partner in Licuadora Studio. I wrote a case study based on one shot from “Superagentes, Nueva Generación,” the movie we worked on here at Licuadora Studio. It’s a day to night effect, all composited with Blender, with some special patches made by Hernan Borghetti (bdiego).

      @Omar Modesto: What? No, I didn’t go and fix any links on the article after what you wrote, but I did try them here on the post and they worked for me. Were they not working before? It doesn’t really matter since they are working now, just wondering what you meant by your last comment. ;)
