I just finished putting together a little teaser video featuring some of the examples and tutorials that will be featured in my upcoming book, Bounce, Tumble, and Splash! Simulating the Physical World with Blender 3D . I thought some of your readers might be interested in checking that out. It should give people some idea of what they can expect from the book.
You can also download a better quality video
As for the book itself, it’s coming along great. I’m almost finished with the manuscript, although I’m expecting to do a fair amount of revising between now and the release of 2.50 to make sure that the book is as current as possible when it’s released.
Also, the BlenderNation readers who weren’t keen on the previous cover design may be pleased to know that their comments have been taken to heart. A new cover has been designed, and in fact it features artwork by one of the posters on that previous BN thread . So thanks to the BlenderNation readers for their feedback (and to 4museman for the new artwork)!
Editor’s Note: For those of you who may have missed my interview with Tony (also includes Joe Eager and – Roland Hess) at SIGGRAPH 2007 you can watch it at REVVER.com
