The Crystalspace developers know how to party! They're gathering in Spain for the next couple of weeks for an intense 'hackfest'. Project Apricot members will be present and workshops on graphics design for games using Blender will be given every Thursday and Sunday this month.

Starting this month is the beginning of the Crystal Space hackfest where members of the community will gather together for an intense couple of weeks hacking. Frank Richter and Pablo Martin from the Apricot project, Amir Taaki from last years Blender conference, and Blender artists working on game projects- Dariusz Dawidowski, a successful independent polish games developer and Jelle Hellemans who works on Peragro Tempus MMORPG will be doing a workshop on 3D graphics for games using Blender every Thursday and Sunday this month.
Many other people will also be present (unrelated to Blender but related to Crystal Space) such as commercial and free software games developers, summer of code participants, and cool people!
The workshop will be in English, and the location is La Fibra (Pza Pintor Cusachs. CSOA La Fibra). It is a lively decorated building, and entrance is free. The workshop runs from 21:00 onwards for approximately 2 hours. The session is also free for people who would like to come along and just socialise with people and to meet the group.

I wish I can be in all events of Blender..
[Bug report]: why does the picture have its own article when you click on it? It doesn't show like the rest of the pictures in this site!
@RedBirdiii: odd, it wasn't supposed to have a link at all.. Fixed it - thanks for letting me know!
Good luck to this new project, may we all have a great open game by next year, showing off some Blender/Crystalspace power :D
I bet the blender community will turn into dedicated beta testers lol
Crap. You said project Apricot members will be present. Did I miss the announcement where they were accepting applications to join the team?
@Chris: no, the Blender Institute has been rather quiet about Apricot so far. What I do know is that they're working together with Crystal Space and I think that the two members are from their side.
I was gonna say!
