Bioxel Nodes is a Blender add-on designed for scientific volumetric data visualization. Leveraging Blender's Geometry Nodes and Cycles render engine, Bioxel Nodes allows for the easy import and detailed, realistic rendering of volumetric data. Unlike previous tools, Bioxel Nodes ensures scientific accuracy and high-quality visuals.
The add-on supports multiple formats including DICOM, BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, Nifti, Nrrd, and HDF5, with more formats like Meta, VTK, and others to be supported soon. Future updates will also include features for generating sections and supporting time sequence volumes.
