Crowdrender: Rushing to get our rendering add-on ready in time for Blender 4.0!!

Hey hey!

Blender 4.0 is finally here, and we've been hard at work (perhaps a little too hard) trying to get our 3d rendering add-on prepared. You can learn a bit more about that in the second half of this video!

The first half of the video is a send up, a self satirical piece that I filmed in a couple of days to, errrr, celebrate the joys of developing our add-on under time pressure! It was a lot of fun to make and hopefully you enjoy it!

The second half is a brief explanation of the first half and also news that we've released an update to our popular rendering add-on to support Blender. Our add-on basically allows you to quickly and easily distribute rendering across many computers, meaning you can render in less time by using more hardware.

This way, you're not limited to just relying on one, expensive, and really powerful computer, you can use anything around your home or office, even laptops. Just install our add-on, connect and you're ready to render once the blend file has been synchronized.
