Normalize spline control points with this free Blender add-on

2

This free add-on by atanguay will redistribute the control points along your splines evenly, allowing for easier texturing or  more constant motion for camera paths.

I created this simple clone of 3DSMax's 'Normalize Spline' feature. After not finding any way to do this, I decided to put this together myself with CGPT.

Not something you need every day, but this addon is handy when you're trying map a texture through a spline. Like coursing energy through a tube, and things like that. By default, you will get non-linear motion, since your spline control points are probably all over the place, but divided evenly. So, things travel quickly through big spans, and slowly through jammed up ones. This fixes that.
