Car Rig "Launch Control" - Test Short Film

A short film I have been working on to test out the new car rig I am going to share soon!

I always had an issue with many car rigs because they don't feel optimized for production. So my goal with this rig was to create a system that could take care of any kind of movement - Including jumps and airtime. Apart from that, all the animation is fully un-destructive, and physics can be baked on top from the add-on UI with simple controls - After baking the physics, they can be switched on and off on the fly.

The add-on also offers a lot of presets to get you started and a series of small cool features like a speed-o-meter, accurate Ackermann steering, camber calculations for the steering, and much more.

Hey! I am a 3D artist and a Blender fanboy! Blender is like the Swiss Army Knife of editing software. Modeling, compositing, editing, sculpting, essay-writing - It does it all. Well, getting off track... I am mostly working with hard surface stuff like automotive rendering and product visualization, but I also do sculpts and environments from time to time.
