One of the best things about Blender is the community it has fostered around it, a community that, other than being proactive about helping any other Blender user in need, is dead set on extending Blender's usefulness and spreading its open-source mantra. The latest example of such initiatives is the release of the free and open-source "CAD Sketcher", a Blender addon adding CAD workflows into Blender.
I love this constraint system (like Solidworks). It's great for making quick prototypes !@CADsketcher Thanks !

CAD is short for Computer-Aided Design and refers to a design paradigm and software enabling precision workflows, which in this case are parametric and constraint-based. These tools are a boon for engineering and architecture work among other things, where precise measurements are paramount to the work being produced. Check out the video below introducing the addon:

YES! This is good news!
This is Amazing. Never see like this, this is beautiful Addon. I will try it. 2D in 3D, it is like Grease Pencil.
Thank you to Mr. Bart and Mr. Mario Hawat for this.
This is great ! I use a lot freecad for its sketcher abilities, and a lot blenderCAM for machining. Even if it's not yet close to what freecad does, to be able to do it inside blender is amazing. Congratulations
Wonderful. Thanks.
Ohh my evolution! That's good news. It is a little bit like SOLIDWORKS.
Great work!
