Blender's latest Open Movie project, Sprite Fright, is in full production, with educational gems coming out of the process left and right on the Blender Cloud. This latest post on the Blender Cloud blog by Christian Bunyan shares the project's co-director's insight on voice direction.

Hjalti Hjálmarsson draws on a wealth of experience accumulated during his previous work on open movies such as Spring and Agent 327: Operation Barbershop, and talks about the importance of preparedness when dealing with voice talent, and how a "scratch pass" is useful in fleshing out the dialogue at the editing phase among other things.
