Hi, my name is Jan and I help companies by creating short videos for their websites and internal use, mostly as a freelancer for agencies. I post daily one-minute tutorials for Blender users and wrote the popular "Blender Secrets" e-books.

    • I think it's fine that it isn't, after all it's a commercial add-on (this is just the free version). Then, where does it end? Hard Ops and Boxcutter and MeshMachine as well? (Although that would be cool, heheh)

True. It's just so simple and useful that the thought is tempting; Recently I've been trying to easily create procedural scifi panels, either using geometry modifiers or procedural material textures. It's quite difficult to get good random patterns like that automatically, especially ones that can repeat and generate an unique result per panel. It would be nice if smarter modifiers and procedural textures could be added over time as an alternative.
