Is it possible to do a expression with location? For ex. rotate, when moving on X?
For that you probably want to look more at drivers, which are actually also not that hard to set up. Or Animation Nodes.
this is great, thanks - is there an additional term that can be added to make the wiggle (pseudo) random? - long ago there was a script that used (I think) random( ) to add some natural variations to things - perhaps there's a bit of under-the-hood script than can be used to "randomly" vary the speed or amplitude, or both?
