Sculpting a Hermit Crab in Blender 2.8|Timelapse

Hi everyone, my name is Masha! I’m a 3D artist from Russia, now living and working in Italy.
I did this hermit crab for the Sculptjanuary 2019 Challenge. The topic was “tiny” and it took me 4 hours to make it more or less. Basically what I’ve done is to block out the general shapes and then sculpt the details. I used the Beta of blender 2.8 for this work and it was a good occasion to get used to the new version of this program.
That being said, thank you for your attention and enjoy!

Very impressive!
Were you going to do one with the cap translucent?
There was a lot of work on the back of the crab.
Hey, Thank You!
Actually no. I just blocked out the base mesh to find the right position for the cup and haven’t sculpted the part that is inside, just a little piece to maintain the continuity of shapes and to make shure that the unsculpted part is’t visible from any point of view.
