I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Amazing that some respondents still think Blender is just waiting to be bought out by someone else. They can't accept that anyone would give away something this good for free.

  2. I use Blender, and also Cinema 4D and ZBrush. If I had time, I'd learn Houdini. The availability of free software has not deterred me from paying for commercial software as well, each has its strengths.

  3. Dear Ton, software engineer, community Blender3d, please fix this addon for Blender 2.8 = io_import_lipsync_Importer.py

it is use for import papagayo lipsync file. very important.

    Thank you.
