In this tutorial we will be creating a kind of "Through the Doorway" type VFX shot using the Node Editor.
We will be using two video clips (links below) and combining them to create this other worldly effect.
Since the Foreground Video is moving we need to track and match the Background so be sure to pick a good tracking point. If (like me) you have one that sucks you may notice some sliding/jumping. If that happens, re-track and try again.
We also create a couple of masks and animate them to match the footage, we then utilize the Keying node's Garbage and Core Features to clean it up.
