Assalamualaikum. Hi guys.

More often than not we need to create UV map for symmetrical 3D models such as characters, vehicles, weapons etc. In this tutorial I want to discuss one of the methods, and that will be the “copy mirrored UV coordinate” command. Now, some people get inconsistent result from this method therefore thinking that this method is broken. I'll explain why are these happening and also explain the workaround for it.

I hope this tutorial useful. Thank you for watching. Wassalamualaikum.

  1. This is a great and informative tutorial!
Explain it clearly and even show how to fix the possible errors you might get.

Gonna apply this to all my symmetrical objects! Making a clear and perfect uv.
