Looks very cool! What's that Clay material. Can't find it from my blender.
Thanks! That's just a custom shader group based on principled shader with Random Walk SSS, with a fingerprints bump/roughness texture.
Fantastic work! I love it!
Hi Riccardo,
i love your workflow, very effective for this kind of charachter
would you tell us a bit more about your magic shader or is it a "segreto di bottega"?
Hi Papalagi, absolutely not a secret!
I just used the default Principled BSDF with the SSS at 0.8 mix value and the Random Walk method (you have to download the latest daily build if you want this feature). Then i Grouped the shader tree exposing just the diffuse color and the sss color, wich are the only settings I want to change per objects and called the group "Clay" . By exposing of course I mean that the only input connections of the group node are "Color" and "SSS Color" . I hope it helps!
Check Out My Youtube channel for more info about the Random Walk Shader

Thank you Riccardo, yes the new SSS method really makes a difference, didn't hear about that, hope it finds place in the stable branch ASAP
