Sayan Mondal writes:

In this tutorial I will walk you through the entire process of making the linen shader from scratch. I have decided to provide similar tutorials (elaborate and follow along) for upcoming shaders on Boundless Blending.

Thanks a lot for watching!
Any suggestions are more than welcome :)

    • You're right. That's something I should have mentioned in the tutorial but anyway, since you have asked here - there are a few work arounds to it:

      1. If you are comfortable with UV unwrapping then unwrap the mesh before you go for the cloth simulation. That will solve it.

      2. If you don't want to UV unwrap, then you can use the *axis selector* node group in the material node tree. Tweak the x y z values according to the orientation of your mesh and you'll eventually get the desored result.

Still, the first process is much easier if you have a relatively simple geometry.
