    Dear blender developers,

you all do an amazing job, thank you.
    Grease Pencil is much appreciated.
But when can it be rendered out like other normal blender objects via render layer at last (without the dull convert to mesh wasting hours of getting things done method)? Without an easy render workflow the powers of Grease Pencil can't hardly be unleashed. No, the OpenGl render is no serious solution. Blender 2.8 seems to get a lot of new features. But why not finish/improve existing tools for getting essentially useable before concentrating on new ideas?
    Nevertheless, blender rocks!

  2. Aaron Carlisle - Thank you for these Blender dev roundups! I love hunting through them and spotting for features that are particularly exciting to me (and thus prompt a build download to play). It really feeds my Blender obsession and fills the gap between low level dev chatter and high level version release notes. You rock.
