We are glad to announce that b3d101 together with 3Dami and University of Roehampton received a Google CS4HS funding for developing a sharing platform and more Blender tutorials for teachers and young students. The sharing platform, like Scratchweb, should make it possible for young students and teachers to share work, give feedback and learn from each other.
If there are people interested to help out, please drop us a word.

The platform is terrible at the moment. How can I help?
We're looking for translators and video creators. if you are a school teacher we are looking for you to introduce your students to the platform. Can you drop us an email, details here: http://www.3dami.org.uk/?page_id=106
Ideas on how to improve the website for schools, teachers and young students are also welcome.
Let's say, those who are familiar with blenderguru.com think about the right functionality...

There are many other great ideas that are convenient for millions of users ...
If you really want and have the financial opportunity, I can provide concepts sketches and practical wishes
Wishes are always welcome. Keep in mind that the focus on this platform is kids and schools.
We can get funding for learning platform (because there isn't enough mediocre quality learning material out there already) but we can't get funding to clean up the software's foundation or UI.
Well I guess it is still positive that we get something from Google.
We're aiming for high quality child focused material. The vast majority of the material out there isn't suitable for most children, and isn't aimed at children. I urge you to look at our material and send us some feedback to help make it better.
Obviously funding is needed elsewhere, but we believe getting children creating with a technology that they normally relate to as consumers is important for media/digital literacy as well as democracy. Though I would say that... :)
It's untrue that there is no funding for cleaning up the software's foundation and UI, but those are different people working on that. Currently the blender institute is working on blender 2.8 which purpose is exactly that. And it's able to do so by funds from many sponsors from around the world.
I love your work b3d101!
I think you are on the right path. The Kart tutorial is a masterpiece. The website is as it should be: low weight, with written tutorials, which is very important for countries with very low or nearly nonexistent Internet bandwidth. Is nice to see that there is people out there doing things as it should be. :)
Congratulations on obtaining the funds!

Thank you Francisco!
You are welcome! :)
Here is a very humble file that my students love to play and learn with (google drive download link):

What does it do?
It uses the Blender Game Engine state machine to make an object follow the perimeter of a triangle ;)
Animated .gif file ilustrating what it does:

One can also change the position of the nodes to form a different triangle.
It's very simple, just move the targets in Blender. Then press "P" button in the keyboard in one of the 3D windows to start the game engine and see what it does.
"Esc" key exits the game engine.
:)
