Tutorial: Low Poly Trees

3

Mezaka writes:

I know that many people have been struggeling to create good low poly trees for a while now. There are some tutorials on youtube about this topic, but i always felt that they were lacking the quality of what people actually want to create.

So here I created a small 4 part tutorial series, which shows 4 different techniques to create good looking lowpoly trees. They should be usable for beginners, since i tried to explain everything as detailed as possible, but they also introduce you to some more advanced techniques like curves, metaballs, group instances and the skin modifier. So there is a lot new to learn about!

Have fun with them and feel free to ask any question!

Note that this is a four-part video playlist.

  1. Dear Mezaka,

Thank you for the tutorial. I'm very like the tree on the right of the youtube video preview image.

Can I use it in my art work for free? Or I can buy a license.

Please contact me at [email protected]

    Thank you.
