Blender Cloud: New Training: Toon Character Workflow

Remember Dillon Gu’s Katsu? You can now learn how he makes such videos on the Blender Cloud’s latest training.

Have you ever wondered how to create fun and appealing toon-shaded characters like these?

YouTube star Dillon Gu (director of Katsu Cats and more cool videos) has joined Blender Cloud for the production of a tutorial series that will guide you from the basics to a finished toon-shaded character.

The training is divided into 3 main sections:

  • Modeling and rigging (available now to all Blender Cloud subscribers)
  • Toon Shading (coming soon)
  • Animation (coming soon)
