The Goat Sorcerer - animation and tips support

2

Poor Goat Sorcerer has a lot to learn :) Pierrick shares a 7-part timelapse on its creation. Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,

I've produced a new character based on cool concept from Daniel Lustosa. I've decided to make a little animation even if the character wasn't supposed to (it wasn't built for animation so it may look a bit stiff as I couldn't stress the rig that much)

You will also find a full serie of timelapses with comments and tips on the whole project creation.
You can access the blend file and see the sketchfab model on the BlenderArtists  thread.

Do not hesitate to rate it if you've liked it :)

  1. Forgive my reversion to anachronistic lingo, but this animation is a gas.
It's difficult for me to put my finger on it, but the goat has an air about him, and the character seems to have gone with a real gut feeling while producing his spell.
The world of magic is often thought to have four elements: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. While the spell shows clear evidence of Fire and Air, liquids and solids are also implied, and I applaud Pierrick Picaut for adding the extra depth to this animation. You can almost smell the sulfer of this "spell from the Nether Regions."
So kudos to Pierrick Picaut of P2design. Again, the goat is a real gas.
