RetopoFlow v1.1.0, a free update to existing users, is a massive update to CG Cookie's popular retopology tool.
Jonathan Williamson writes:
I'm happy to say RetopoFlow version 1.1.0 has been released!
The biggest change in v1.1.0 is a massive 10-100x speed boost in most cases! The speed improvement is night and day difference.
In addition to the massive speed boost, there's a whole new set of tools, including Tweak, Loop Cut, and Loop Slide. All of which include automatic surface snapping, removing the need for complicated workflows.
Additional improvements and fixes and listed in the changelog.
P.S. v1.1.0 is a free upgrade for anyone that's previously purchased RetopoFlow.

And RetopoFlow's legend just keeps growing.
This product is gradually but surely becoming one of those solid features that'll turn more than a few heads out there.
It's already something that makes the most painful process in 3D creation--retopology work--into something you look forward to doing. When retopo gets to be interactive and adjustable, it's actually...fun!
This addon is the kind of focused, polished, integrated work Blender truly needs. Here's hoping we perhaps even seen a dedicated Retopo Mode in Blender someday. ;0
And congrats on this milestone, RetopoFlow team!
Thanks Brian! That's really encouraging to see this kind of support. It's been a long road up to this point and we still have a very, very long ways to go. Making progress bit by bit, though :)
And I too hope to see a dedicated retopo mode before much longer!
I'be bought this addon some month ago, but I've just played a bit with the new version coming.
I must say that this last version is really fast ( sometimes the last versions were a bit on the sluggish side), and it's a really nice option to dedicated retopo suite.
I'd like to know where can I check for the new commands (loop cuts for instance , I could not find anything in the help) and if there's gonna be a nice tutorial. Keep on with the good work
I'd like to see an updated tutorial as well.
A full course and updated documentation is in the works :)
