That is really nice! Can something this complex be easily animated?
Retopology it to mid-poly, bake normal maps and animate freely)
Very hard task. First need to be retopo to a reasonable number of polys but also problem is that its position is not the basic cross position where you can easily put a rig inside. Sure you can get some basic movements but not complex animation. Rigging and enveloping would be really hard.
I think the mainly purpose of awesome model like this one is not to be animated but to show the modelling skills of the artist.
