Po-Ta-To VR: Blender + Oculus Rift

1

"The Dwarves stopped by again. And, they're throwing plates... again. Dodge the plates!". A VR game made using Blender and Unity for the Oculus Rift.

Patrick Sharkey writes:

This past weekend at the 2015 Global Game Jam, I was able to team up with some amazing programmers and create a game based on the opening portion of the first Hobbit movie. It includes full immersion for players, who need to dodge the plates and bowls thrown by dwarfs who have shown up at your hobbit home.

All the art was created in Blender 2.73, and then imported to Unity 4.61.

You can download a copy of the game from the Global Game Jam page.

  1. When I read the title I thought it would be the Oculus Rift using the Blender game engine...
Actually it's more like Unity + Oculus Rift
