1) Projects for 2.72
- The compositor memory/speed patch will be postponed. Details are in on developer.blender.org.
- Martin (scorpion81) Felke's solidify modifier patch made it to master as well.
- "BCon3" is official now - stabilizing the new stuff, testing and reporting period.
2) Google Summer of Code
- Students: add link to your final report here? Thanks!
- Tomorrow is "pencil down", and evaluattion reports can be submitted. Friday is final evaluations deadline.
3) Other projects
- Tamito worked on reduced memory consumption in Freestyle.
- Martin Felke will resubmit his redesigned fracture modifier - first as a design document to get approval in general.

Now if duplicates could be a modifier as well instead of using parenting and object property settings teaching will be a lot easier.
Mantaflow potentially is the right sims for Blender. It may not look exciting at this point but in the future it surely is. This integration is first step and i appreciate it.
