I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

You've made it! Congratulations to the crew. I suppose it's only the beginning :)
Bart, there is a mistake in the article. The link says Gran Dilemma instead of Gran Dillama.

Fixed, thanks!
Congrats guys! Caminandes 2 was awesome
Congratulations to Pablo and the Caminandes team!
Wow, that's really cool! Congrats! :)
Niice!! :D
Thank you very much Bart (and the rest providing info on the Twitter thread of this news :)!!
Super super super happy as a llama that just crossed the road.
AWESOME STUFF MAN!!! To be honest I see a lot of junk on Disney Channel all the time....I have a 2yr old son:) I'm always thinking...."this is the best they could come up with? I know a lot of Blender heads who could easily make some amazing stuff for Disney"
Congrats guys I'd say Gran Dillama is making Disney.com look good:)
Nice piece of exposure there. Both for the Caminandes team and Blender. It also shows that there is a good market for short animated movies.
...except a "good market" generally involves money...
Congrats on this achievement!
Super cool, but hey the team did a great job.
Applause!! A well deserved spotlight!
It feels good to see something like this happening to you guys! Best wishes!
well deserved:) congrats to the whole team!
Francesco, Jan, Pablo, Hjalti, Andy and Sergey, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Do not let Disney to HIRE you! :) Haha, also, very hot HUGS for Ton Roosendaal who make this possible in Blender Institute! CHEERS! You are awesome!
Felicitaciones Pablo, un merecido reconocimiento, saludos!
NICELY DONE! :)
Congratulations Caminandes! :D
So I'm curious- I didn't see it when I went to the website. Was this some sort of collaboration through Disney? Are they spotlighting smaller studios or open source projects? Not being rude, I'm just wondering about why it is that Disney is showcasing this.
In any case, Well done! Doing the Blender community proud!
It appears Disney is featuring many shorts found on youtube.
That's great news!
