Thanks for this!
It's nice to have a tutorial to read for once, but I feel like there was a huge leap from step seventeen to step eighteen. That was an opportunity to discuss different modeling tools and principles of topology as they apply to cars, but it just turned into an et voilà moment, instead. Aside from that, it was a fun article and informative.
Agreed. He should put in 1-2 more steps between 17 and 18 to explain how to add the details of the body.
it's like this: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lmohwflNZU1qkfxqfo1_500.jpg
did he model this car? the blueprints and the final car model don't match. The initial steps don't look of the same level quality wise to the final model.
I want and checked on blend swap and found this model but unfortunately only an alias for the modeler. I am sorry but the initial steps look like those of an inexperienced modeler while the final model is well made. That and the fact that the blueprints been used and the final car models don't match kind of makes me think the author didn't model this car. I hope am wrong but my spider senses are tangling.
this model similiar with my model at blend swap, i'm really sure because the poly flow are similiar with my model. http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/21983 . this file under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. he should give a credit to the owner.
