I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
Yeah, the old version is still being cached somewhere. Can't really figure it out quick and I have to get on with work.. I think it'll be gone in a couple of hours.
Hey, I just added my second shot on a plane in 3D space, same distance as the house, and rendered that out after applying the camera solver constraint to the camera.
ahh, you confused me by using the word rotoscoped, that's another name for masking. Animating the 3D model was a little tricky, and took me around 6-8 hr, but I couldn't think of any other way to achieve realistic shadows.

I think it looked better without color correction

Yeah I guess a title would help ;-) Thanks!
ähhmmm Bart, there still isn't a headline at blender.org ;)
But I think you know that :)

Cool! :) How did you make and animate the rotoscoped kid and how long did it take?
Hey, here's a good video on how to do masking in blender from the mango channel, it didn't take me long, pretty quick and easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZnJLLB1P4M&feature=plcp
When I said rotoscoped I meant how did you make and animate the 3D model of the kid and how hard was it?
