The sphere in the foreground is rendered with cycles and the background with BI. Turned out to work better than I expected.

First!
that was a very nicely done render
way to go!
In my opinion, this is a wonderful image.
BlenderNation is one of the most fine CG sites to look at. However, I'd venture to suggest that talented people like Zordan send their works also (and I emphasize "also") to sites not strictly blenderian, as, e.g., CGTalk. This in order to show what a skillfull hand is able to do with Blender, and, let me say it, to give the onlooker some respite from the monotony of the 3ds/maya/vray/mental parade (though images are almost always beautiful, do not misunderstand me, please).
What? This is done in Blender? O come on.
I was kidding of course. :D Wow. Nice Render.
Excellent piece of Art!
Very aesthetic
Great image. Not just because the composition itself is superb, but because the tools are invisible. Nice one.
This reminds me of those futuristic old Maplin Electronics catalogue covers by Lionel Jeans (U.K only perhaps)?
Beautiful. Reminds me of the sci art I used to see in Omni magazine from the late 70s/early eighties.
I remember them (wistful sigh)
Really exceptional!
Beautiful.
That's epic.
I love the negative space and the directions that the "lines" take the eye. Beautifully done!
Remarcable! Thanks for making it! Made me see a few things I'm doing wrong :)
Awesome work!
I love the blue. It's so... BLUE!!! Great work!
