Pro work. I like it. How did you avoid the artifacts (= white flecks) with so large a glass?
It could be a Mix shader of Transparency and Glossy.. It's a great way to fake glass :D
Thanks for this tip, i'm working on an interior scene which i had some "fireflies" problems with tainted glasses.
That could be of a great help.
I mean "tinted" ... sorry :(
the material of the chain,
glass
with a weak blue color
+1 I had the same question about glass artifacts (also called fireflies, i think), how many samples and render time ?
Really pro render, anyway !
thanks for comment, render time 5 to 8 hours
Very nice results! I'm loving seeing these works from Cycles here on BlenderNation!
thanks for comment
This is really a great render. Can't tell if its a 3D scene. Cycle is truly grate. Could you please share your render settings. I will not hide that it would be awesome if I could get those type of result :).
will be sharing as soon as possible, excuse my bad english
Superb! Fantastic work! Congratulations!
I'm glad you liked it.
Excellent work! The render time was 5 to 8 hours, but which are your system specs?
I apologize, my english is very bad I wanted to answer all but a few things I do not understand
I can't imagine a farmers house being contemporary :)
Excellent Work. Which graphics card you are using?
Saw this on blendercookie's(i think) facebook yesterday , really stunning, at first i wasn't amazed until i realised that it was much more subtle than other photorealistic render's i have seen. when i realised that it totally blew me away.
thanks for comment
Amazing. speechless.
thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed ...
Excellent work showing Cycles' great possibilities!
thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed ...
Nice rendering - the indoor plant looks specifically very well made.
But the render time somewhat really pains me 5 to 6 hours is very long - maybe too long for such a scene
compared to render tools today out there. I hope they can really speed up Cycles significantly at one point.
thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed,
but this time is too long
