uhm the water it's really not so good looking especially not after all that node editing
thank you for commenting, and although this is rather a matter of preference,I would suggest you to try "playing" a bit with those nodes there, especially the "Fresnel" one,(if you want you can always replace it with a "gradient texture",simply made in GIMP or Photoshop, let's say by using the Gradient Tool,at the exact image aspect ratio of the Seawater plane and then imported (Add > Texture > Image Texture) and mapped according to the UVs (or "Default" mapping)
do try tweaking the nodes (add some Color Gradient as I suggest at around the end of the tutorial, give it a try ,don't judge just from the video.and I promise you >>> you will want to add this technique to your arsenal, trust me >>> you will be part of the team that knows how to win ...:-)
Thanks again for sharing your opinion and giving me the chance to write a few words! Peter
Cool! Finally I know how to blend to materials, thanks! And love your accent by the way!
thank you for commenting and, trust me,what you've just said, that you found this tutorial somewhat useful and helpful for learning composite materials,is the greatest reward for my efforts...
thank you for what you said about my accent as well! Peter
Thank you Bart (and everybody in BlenderNation) for mentioning my work here, greatly appreciate,Peter
