I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

WOW!!! That is .. freakin fantastic! Was this ONLY Blender? Or was it put into ZBrush or Sculptris as well? Rendered internally? I'd love to hear more detail in the making of this fantastic piece!

I appreciate all the great images placed here, but shouldn't BlenderNation be more of a news site and less of a gallery? There are more and more good images appearing made in Blender, I don't think a headlines site is really the place to feature them all. Don't we want PROPER news only? I wonder what others think.
This website is about all things that inspire Blender users, development, tutorials, community and art. So yes, they definitely deserve a place here.
