Terry Wallwork reviews Lee Salvemini's 'Ninja Character Creation Volume 2 - Rigging', the second part of a four-part videotutorial by CGMasters.
Terry writes:
CGMasters.net recently contacted me and asked if I would do a review of their Ninja Character Creation Rigging tutorial video. This is the second tutorial in their planned to be four part series on aspects of the character creation process using Blender . Given that I was so impressed with their previous Character Creation videos, I decided I would, so off I went to download the video from the download link they sent me.
[...]
I have seen and read a lot of videos and books, and I can say that I have never seen a video tutorial that is as complete and extensive as this is on the topics of rigging.
[...]
I really can't say enough good things about these videos, they are amazing, I could not find a single thing to complain about.
If you are interested in Blender and want to get expert in rigging with Blender this is the video tutorial to get.

haha! thats a short review.:)
Remember, folks, you can win a bundle with this volume and Volume One by participating in the HJ Media Studios Blendswap Model Contest. You have a little under one month!
arghh...need to get more cash, i've spend for local DVD training here..this hits my buyinglist
@Aditia A. Pratama - Check the post above yours ;)
John Mervin: Yep a short review as I really couldn't find anything to point out what was bad or could have of been done better, plus the chapter listings pretty accurately cover what is in the videos. If its to do with rigging it all in the videos. So I figured short review would be best or I would just be repeating what the chapter names already say.
Ok at the end of the video it says the clone wars(which i watch sometimes, mainly the season opening and finally)
does that mean that the clones wars endorses this product or what???
othere than that when i get the money im buying it!!!
There is also this review, which is fair, but not quite as glowing...

@ mr blender, it is made by lee salvemini who worked on clone wars, it was just showing his experience. :)
ok thanks @john mervin
i will waiting for four part and purchase them.
I preordered them around 1 month ago, can't wait to get it :D Cmivfx rigging tutorials seem to be awesome too, but the fact that they're only online streams are annoying and unhelpful for me.
FYI, CG Masters in facts are very dissapointing in terms of service. I already pre-ordered the bundled since the DVD are in the making which is about around July 2011, but until I wrote this comments none of the DVD rigging & modelling have arrived. I don't know the problems, I already mail them, write on their wall, but It's seems the ignored my message, no reply, no nothing. Some of the bundled buyer only got one dvd, which should be two. I started to think that I just lost my US$90,-
I have been contacted via email & Facebook message by Mr. Salvemini's him self. And he gives me a refund for what I have been complaining about plus US$5,-. Which is something that I am not looking for. All I want is to have the DVD and take that rigging & modelling lessons. But, thanks to him for his responsibility. I am sorry too. Anyway, If the DVD's arrives I'll give them back the money that they should earn. I hopes this clear the problems.

Uhh, Yeah the DVD would be nice, but the download tutorials are butt kicking good. You download the exact same video series as what's on the DVD, its in very clear med high res video format. And its good.
That should absolutely get your fix until your DVD comes. To be honest I just completed the whole thing and am building some meshes off the rig now.
unfortunately my internet connections is too slow. That's why I choose the DVD. But, either way i am just a disciples whose waiting for a lesson. Glad to hear your progress, share some of your works when you're ready :)
