German BlenderDay/2011

4

German Blenderheads are meeting up on the 9th and 10th of July inn Eislingen/Fils, Germany. It's amazing to see community-run activities like this one year in, year out. Good job guys!

The German Blender Conference "BlenderDay" will take place for the third time in Eislingen/Fils again in Southern Germany, at the 9th/10th July. Like in the past two years we will have lots of interesting presentations and workshops again. Take a look at the conference images from last year to get an impression.

I am also very proud to announce that Andy Goralczyk, Art Director of Elephants Dream and Big Buck Bunny, will visit this years conference as well. :)

There are two tickets available: Ticket 1 for 39€ (including Lunch and Dinner) and Ticket 2 (Lunch, Dinner and one stay at a youth hostel from Saturday to Sunday). Ticket 2 is nearly sold out though (see website for details)

Check out our program at http://blenderday.de/ and get your ticket today!

  1. Seriously, a bit more notice so I can arrange a bit of time of work.

For a lot of us more than 6 weeks, preferably 8 weeks notice is necessary. Also cheap flights and hotels are best booked well in advance. Hint to all organisers of events. Eislingen is easy for me to get to from Sweden, if I have enough notice. Same with people from other parts of Europe.

Also brilliant conference. I hope it really works out well. Unfortunately I cannot reschedule work or I would be there.

Actually i seriously wish i could get there, but have not enough time to reschedule.

I really need to attend more blender conferences.

  2. I'll be there, making a video report for the bavarian metropolitan area "nuremberg". We'll be enjoying the event with the blender user group "NuremBUG" from nuremberg.
Hope to get some cool interviews with you guys!

    See you there! :D

@Nemesis: I think there was an annoucement a bit earlier. I totally agree with you, though.
