Sorry, I couldn't resist! Can you spot the resemblance? (by troubled)

"Shift + W 5, engage!"
Cycles, Next Month, Hot *ppprrrreeeeEEEEE!*
i don't get it
insider-joke?
Engage!
Yep, coul'd be him. Did he loose his hair in the development of 2.5x ? That would be a shame, 'cause it's a fiiine proggie....
Blended99
Earl Grey, Hot.
@oliver - No insider joke, unless you are not familiar with Star Trek - The Next Generation. This is a picture of Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the starship Enterprise remapped with Ton's face. It is actually very well done!!
:D
energize!
should we address ton as captain from now on?
I see the mango project is starting to bear fruit.
These compositing / VFX tools are going to be great!!
:P
Ha ha ha.
Ton-Luc?
More like this: http://images.cheezburger.com/completestore/2010/5/23/129191030029459112.jpg
That is more than a little bit weird! Brilliant, but weird...
hehe guys :)
We were just joking around on irc about Ton being like Picard etc. Guess you had to be there. Unfortunately, too much time in the HoloBGE has given him a nasty tan line :D
@Phoinx: lol, thats another good candidate!
So I'm NOT alone in thinking Ton looks like Hugh Laurie! Hahaha! And funny Captain Picard picture!
I can hear him saying "Make it so!"
But Captain Kirk would fit better.
Scotty, How long its take that the Engines Repaird?
2 Weeks Kapitain.
I give you 2 Days.
I make it in 2 houers.
^^
should have changed the logo....
Color correction?
Wooohaaaa Ton :-D
Have you guys noticed that Ton becomes more and more the "Steve Jobs" of the Blendercommunity ;)
Lol. I always had this feeling!
LOL love it....
@Diego no need to be unkind. i think ton's still great. keep your monstrous comparisons to yourself.
@ HumanBlade:
I see you don't understand this kind of humor. Keep your monstrous arguments to yourself ;)
@Wasabi: i laughed sooooo much. I thought about the same quote, when i saw the picture :D
Ton: "Brecht, we need a new rendere! How long does it take?"
Brecht: "Give me two weeks!"
Ton: "I give you two days"
Brecht: "I make it in two hours"
first it scare me,but notices the face, hope it doesn't carry away or copycat it could offend
TON R.Some time people do feel some thing. He did a lot ,so respect the man.

"Ha ha ha.
Ton-Luc?"
Ton-Luc Picardaal.
And i agree with Chrome Monkey. A bit of colour correction would make it more convincing. But it's great how Tons face fits.
Maybe like this?
http://tinyurl.com/picardaal
lol JeroenM, very nice. I tried getting the color to match better in GIMP, but I suck with it :) Very nice job though!
That being said, I wasn't exactly planning on it showing up on the front page, and was rushing it out before too long so the joke wasn't lost :)
funny stuff, needs a Vroom jacket tho!
"Sorry, I couldn’t resist!"
Resistance is futile ;)
Good GIMP work to who ever merged those photos. The exposure on tons skin could be taken down a little more for a perfect match!
and yes, make it so.
@Nick
I actually did the opposite and basically matched the "Picard"-part of the picture to Tons face because i felt that part was to grey and dark. The link is in my previous post.
@JeroenM
I have just re-read my post and I have fell foul of appearing to miss the joke and get all technical. My bad, I think it's great and reading one of your previous posts you are right to get it out quickly!
But, getting all technical again, the cheek bones especially and overall bone structure is spot on!
@Nick
I get the feeling that you give me too much honour here. The compositing of Tons face onto Jean Luc Picard was done by troubled. I just did some colour correction the result of which can be seen at my "Hyves" page. Follow the tinyurl link in my post of "JeroenM May 20th, 2011 at 9:08 am" if ou want to see it.
Ah!
@ JeroenM & @ troubled, Great job! The image at the tinyurl link is spot on!
