Jason van Gumster has assembled a team of Blender artists to to compete in the Richmond 48 Hour Film Project. We have the next 48 hours to produce a short animation according to a genre drawn from a hat.
This year, we have the largest team ever! Come watch us work at: http://tinychat.com/handturkey
Sounds similar to the V48 hours furious film making competition in New Zealand. We've produced two animated entries with Blender, and have out-produced teams using both Max and Maya! Best of luck guys! You're using winning software!
Sintel (Durian project) could do/use something alike show the people what's up with Durian in real time.
@MRKane: Awesome! Yes, Blender is an excellent app. We are having a lot of fun, though we are tired :)
@Whimsy Collective: True!
hmmm...cool idea. Would like to take part in one of these one day...
@Alex: Yep. :) Yes, it's pretty cool
@Banor: be careful...you might never want to use real live actors again - we sure didn't!
