I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. random: It's actually one city that spreads across the border of two states :) I'll be there this weekend but won't be there for the 6th. "Missed it by that much!"

  2. i am too far from kansas city. there is no user group here in nepal. hey, any blenderhead from here in nepal , especially from kathmandu. It could be fun, if we could make a user group here too.
best of luck for the program.

  3. I'd love to go there and meet jonathan himself!
His tutorials helped me a 1000 miles into blender but Kansas is about 3000 miles away and unless he'S gonna hold some class in berlin i'm afraid i will never be able to attend one:(
But anyway i gotta pull my hat for jonathan and his dedication to blenducation!
He's a wonderful teacher and his tutorials are top notch for starting off into the wonderous world of 3d modelling!

    Thanks so much!!!

  4. i saw jonathan [quite] a while back in kc's mac store and he really rocks! his tutorials are top-notch too. will definitely be there, even though i am not that good with blender yet...
