There's only 20 days left of the Apricot project (Yo Frankie!). Venomgfx (Pablo) has posted a new blog on the Apricot site regarding the plans for the final few weeks.
There's also a call for documentation/tutorial ideas to be included on the DVD, along with a list of ideas already thought up by the team for us to get excited about, so get on over to the blog and let them know what you'd like to see!
Pablo explains:
"With the time we have from now, we managed to split it in a way we could continue wrapping up the game, and still have enough time to invest in the most important aspect of the Apricot Open Game Project, Documentation!"
The full blog can be found at this link.
Goodluck to the Apricot team in their final weeks!

For beginners documentation, here's an intro to the GE ( as both WIKI, and PSD ), which a number of people have used to get to grips with the very basics of the GE...

First post??? :)

I also meant to say in the above post to venomgfx that this documentation was created for Blender as part of the official Blender Summer of Documentation, and is completely free - so it should be possible to include on the DVD in whatever way suits best.
I think an overview of the production pipeline would be the biggest thing. The process of taking a character, getting the appropriate rig and non-linear animations set up properly. What actions are needed to associate these animations to in-game events, etc.
Keep in mind some of us will be seeing these files and the game engine for the first time.
Cant wait to play!
