Blender World Cup #4 – Kicks off on the First of July

Blender World CupIts the middle of the year again, which means the Blender World Cup is being polished, and the competition is about to heat up. This years prize pool is pretty good, so if you are interested we’d love to see there.

The intention of the BWC, is to create a challenge where community members can prove their skills and consistency. For this reason the challenge has previously been over multiple rounds covering multiple topics, such as modelling, compositing, animating…..

This year the challenge has been given a little more freedom, as participants are allowed to do as they please within the given inspirational words. The competition is structured into two rounds.

1. Qualification

For those wishing to enter please drop in to BlenderArtists so you can see how to qualify, and get your name down on the list.

2. Competition

The competition topic has been whittled down over the months and will be reduced even further, so keep an eye on This Thread at BlenderArtists for the final topic on the 1st of July
