If you're looking to do some occasional paid Blender work, make sure you keep an eye on BlenderJobs.com.
At the moment of writing you'll find, amongst other things, a TV station, a MMORPG project and an animation studio looking for Blender artists.
We wrote about this site before, and I believe that they can use some more link-love. Blender needs a talent market place - good job, guys! (But if I can suggest *one* new feature: you should add an RSS feed for the jobs list ;-)

Great site in principle, will be better once the amount of jobs picks up. I know thats not as simple as it sounds, but still...
So, the more people looking for jobs subscribe, the more reason people offering jobs have to come to blenderjobs.com, right? Not that I'm a stockholder or something...
Site needs a better design. First get rid of the joomla favicon.
a pretty nice site, it will be good if a few more jobs get on there, be a great way to make sum cold hard cash.....blender is the best 3D programme ever

The site looks ok to me. It's funny I usually have the exact same complaint with the drupal favicon on sites I go to. Fortunately whatever theme used in this Joomla install, it looks better than your basic widget filled CMS. But I'm excited the site is there. I hope it draws traffic and brings in work for people.
yeah, dave, I see you have a clear opinion here
Dave's spam has been removed and he has been put on the blacklist.
wow! simply, "wow".
i`m surprised my provider hasnt rung me up to complain about all the traffic.
i have received -tons- of feedback today, thx to all the users and BLENDERNATION!!!
The guys and gals and blendernation are a really dedicated and talented bunch, you have to give them al LOT of credit for their dedication.
due to suggestions, a forum has been opened specifically to help customers and user to get acquainted wiht the idea of open-source contracting, and i`ve updated the job section to make everything safer.
really happy to receive all the great (and constructive) feedback.
(using a template to suit form, function (!) and all users is a real headache!!!)
wish you all much success and thanks again for your support

Hey Dennis,
I have to say it's a great site. No complaints about the design from me, it's the concept that I like. I've registered a long time ago, when it was just launched. My crit is, I didn't think about that site after registering there. I've been there the last time in 2006. Not that I have any time atm for even starting up blender, but I expected to hear more from it (clients who had asked something).
Anyway, good *Job* ;)

(oh btw cool I'm artist example nr.2 :)

there. enough sql`ing, patching, moderating, registering, posting and mailing.
its almost two in the morning and its time for a break.
i admire the more-than-one-admin websites ;-)
the site is ready to rumble!
good night, and good luck.
well done dennis, now I hope I soon find a job here ;)
Hope this site goes well like Datascope, OPM, 3Djobs.ca etc
Blenderartists can not only work for projects using Blender but also for companies using other softwares too as output can be exported in obj etc, expecting more scope of project posting.
I wish instead of having 3-5 jobs in one year, the site get popular this time . The site has everything but jobs.
All the Best.
25 euro! Why? why in the beginning of site so big fee? I understand later, when there will be more people interested in it, but no at start ;]
Using the link for blenderjobs.com took me to KatsBits. What gives?
