Blenderart Magazine Call for Content

Blenderart Magazine is preparing for their 7th issue and they are looking for content. Sandra Gilbert sent in the following call for content:

It's time again to start thinking about articles, tutorials and images for Issue #7 of Blenderart Magazine. In this issue we are focusing on 'Materials in Blender', 'Blender Noodles' and 'Compositing in Blender'.

You can write about how to create your favorite materials, cool Node effects, compositing, hand painting textures, how to UV map or any other area/technique that takes your model from default grey to fantastic.

Send in your articles to [email protected], subject: "Article submission Issue # 7 [your article name]"

  • Author guidelines are available here.
  • Use of 'blenderart theme' for blender is recommended for Screen-Shots.

Gallery Images

As usual you can also submit your best renders _based on the theme_ of the issue. As the theme of this issue is materials, that leaves it pretty open for gallery submissions. Please note if the entry does not match with the theme it will not be published.

Send in your entries for gallery to [email protected]; the subject should read "Gallery submission Issue # 7"

Note: Image size should be of 1024x (width) at max.
Last date of submissions is November 5, 2006.
