Art Contest: Animago 2006

4

AnimagoThe German magazine Digital Production is hosting the Animago contest for the 10th time.

From their website:

The animago AWARD has become the most important 2D/3D competition in the German speaking countries. More than 10.000 overall entries (animations for film and tv, commercials, shorts, and industrial productions as well as ambitious home made pictures and movies) were submitted.

Hence, the animago AWARD has become a mirror of all 2D/3D work created within the last 12 months. If you are an artist, animago offers you the chance to present your work, giving you the opportunity to match yourself with the competition. Thanks to its industry-wide acceptance and reputation, the animago AWARD has also become one of the biggest job markets. All nominated entries will be published in a special issue of digital production magazine.

Even though the organization is German, everyone can participate.

Looking at the quality of the submissions of the previous year, I'd say that there are some Blenderheads out there who can match them, so go on and make us proud! (But do so before the deadline of March 15th).

  1. Looks like some stiff competition! Unfortunately my big project wont be ready until the 2007 competition rolls around... Its a shame that Orange wont be done before the deadline! :O

  2. I will send my Landrover Discovery-> for the "Still" Category.
Take a look at the "Landrover Discovery" Thread at elysiun to see the latest WiP. Wish me luck! ;)
