Fresh Blender News, Every Day
As you may know, nothing escapes our attention (you there! stop picking your nose, it's disgusting!), and here's my latest catch: over the last few weeks I've been tracking a Korean site which diligently translates all our articles.
So, here you go: suddenly YOU're on BlenderNation, too! You're doing a great job - thanks. It would be great if you could introduce yourself in a comment below.

Yeah, not many people can say that ;-) Congratulations to the entire team for keeping this website running for almost two and a half years already!
On a side-note, last month we *almost* broke the 1,000,000 pageviews barrier for the first time, and I just noticed we broke the 4,500 RSS subscribers barrier today. We're doing great!
Having said that, the amount of Blender news just keeps increasing and posting only two articles a day just isn't enough to keep up anymore. We need help!
Blenderart Magazine is preparing for their 16th issue and they are looking for content. Sandra Gilbert sent in the following call for content:

Peach have just announced the premiere of Big Buck Bunny: Thursday the 10th of April in Studio/K in Amsterdam. It looks like it's gonna be a fantasic evening - not only will you get to see BBB on the big screen, there will also a party with DJ afterwards, all sponsored by Creative Commons Netherlands!
The evening (screening+party) is free to attend for everyone; if you want the VIP treatment (first screening, champagne, a meal and hugs from the entire team or, well, at least from Nathan) you can get a VIP ticket from the Blender e-shop for €30.
Other cool news is that with the help of Filmmore, BBB will be transfered to three copies of 35mm film including digital audio.
Read the full announcement on the Peach Blog.
