A Blender scene made an appearance in 'The Good Wife'!
David Andrade writes:
Blender has made it on national American TV! A collaboration between Barnstorm VFX and Theory Animation has brought to life a CG animated avatar for the hit show 'The Good Wife.' The episode, Lies (Season 7, Episode 6), released last Sunday featured a CG animated lie detector who questions Alicia and her team.
Barnstorm VFX is a state of the art visual effects company in Los Angeles with credits including the Good Wife, Outlander, and Silicon Valley. Theory Animation is the world's first online animation studio and creator of the popular Ray & Clovis web-series.
You can watch the episode here, limited to the USA only at the moment.

The animation is shown at 31:50 if you only have a few moments to check it out...
That isn't the first time Blender has featured in The Good Wife. Check out the episode about a faulty 3D-printed gun.
That's technically correct - we utilized a Blender interface for the 3D printed gun... but this is the first time we used Blender *character animation* in an episode (with the help of our friends at Theory Animation). If you check out the Barnstorm VFX reel, you can see other instances of Blender used in The Good Wife, including ceiling extensions in the courtroom.
Cool!
Do you know who was responsible for "Shfit", "Apphend" and "Exponential Data" in this shot?

Is this show any good? Cool to see blender on the small screen.
